The Headhouse Solid Wood Farmhouse Coffee Table is crafted entirely by hand from solid Douglas fir and radiata. The base of the table is first stained with our custom 'aged wood' stain, then hand-painted with several coats of matte-finish paint and finally hand-distressed for a naturally aged, farmhouse look. A slatted lower shelf provides plenty of space for books, accessories and more. With sturdy mortise and tenon construction and solid 2" thick legs, this is a seriously stable and solid coffee table. Sealed with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac resin, it will resist stains and coffee rings, while aging beautifully. The finish is UV resistant and will not chip, yellow, or darken over time. When designing a piece of furniture to last a lifetime, the aging of wood and finishes must be taken into account and this table will age beautifully.
